Ceylon is a delightful young mare who is both sensitive and honest. For certain to be the perfect one-person horse, she enjoys being worked and is eager to please!

Ceylon was bred with the idea of improving the athletic prowess of her dam whose easy going personality lended more towards easy trail riding than competitions. Her sire is the cremello Thoroughbred, Billionair, a rare treat indeed. Not just hanging his merits off his rare and unique color, Billionair is the only cremello Thoroughbred to compete in Dressage in the US! Ceylon's dam is the Bashkir Curly mare *J. Curly Camel, who is now a favorite of her owner and is also used in Therapeutic Riding.
Ceylon leads, loads, ties, bathes, trims. She picks up her feet from voice commands alone! She has been started under saddle and continues her training. As a weanling, yearling and two year old, Ceylon was shown in-hand at breed shows where she picked up her fair number of ribbons. She has also been shown at breed demonstrations in-hand.
Very curly coat in the winter, sheds out to very thin coat with some bald areas which vary from year to year. Partial mane, short forelock, curly tail which is about hock length. Pictures above show her still shedding her winter hair. She is a lovely little mare with correct gaits, is a great prospect for many different disciplines / activities!
